Blue Restaurant & Bar is a sophisticated restaurant that offers flavors from around the Mediterranean region. Executive Chef Gene Briggs has created a multicultural menu that will take your taste buds on a whirlwind tour. Prepare to experience a Moroccan Tagine, Whole Roasted Mediterranean Sea Bass or Tenderloin ala Blue. As you travel around the menu, you will be delighted with familiar dishes and excited by others you have yet to explore. Blue is designed to tempt all your senses. We also offer a 36-seat private dining room designed for everything from formal affairs to functional business meeting space. Complimentary valet parking available from 6 p.m. Validated parking in the Hearst Tower for two hours during the day and entire evening after 5 p.m.

Blue Crab and Ricotta Bruschetta - with a sweet-spicy Calabrian pepper jam

Arabic Flatbread - seasoned ground lamb with pine nuts, herbs, tomato and goat cheese with a tahini yogurt sauce

Arrancini - risotto balls stuffed with pancetta, sweet onions and mozzarella, fried crispy and served with a rich tomato sauce

Tega Hill’s Mixed Greens Salad - pistachio tuile and goat cheese Boursin, roasted tomatoes and a Banyuls vinaigrette

Second course (choice of one)

Neapolitan Beef Short Rib Ragu alla Genovese - short ribs slow cooked with onions, tomatoes, red wine, diced prosciutto, pancetta and salami over house-made tagliatelle pasta

Roasted Springer Mountain Farms Half Chicken - marinated with our blend of savory spices, served with choice of one side item from our butcher's block

Duo of Pan-Seared Jumbo Scallops and Pork Medallions - braised with apples, accompanied by sweet potato puree, pancetta-braised Swiss chard and a cider jus

Local N.C. Trout - stuffed with blue crab and Manchego cheese, wrapped with applewood bacon

Third course (choice of one)

Cake di Chocolate - with a warm molten center and vanilla bean ice cream

Sticky Toffee Pudding - accompanied by salted butter caramel sauce, dulce de leche gelato, and cocoa nibs

Tiramisu Cheesecake - creamy mascarpone cheesecake, coffee-soaked ladyfingers with espresso syrup

Pumpkin S'mores Pie - with Graham cracker crust, chocolate ganache and toasted marshmallows topped with salted caramel sauce

Pear-Cranberry Tart Tatin - pears and cranberries baked in caramel with a pastry crust and vanilla ice cream

Apple Crumble Pie - sliced apples baked with a brown sugar cinnamon and oat topping with cinnamon pecan gelato and caramel sauce

Baked Vanilla Custard - with pumpkin spice gelato and crisp ginger cookie
