The Peculiar Rabbit is an American farm-to-fork gastropub. “Gastropub” has taken on a lot of different meanings in the last few years, but we like to think of ourselves as a food-forward neighborhood pub. We take traditional English fare and infuse it with Southern ingredients from local suppliers. While our menu is more culturally diverse than straight English fare, the common denominator of our offerings is our attention to culinary fundamentals--our focus on our craft. Our hope is to create a unique dining experience for our guests in our lovely dining and bar areas. As we are blossoming as a business and neighbor, we look forward to feedback from our guests so we can continue to provide them with exceptional service and food that is extraordinary.

First course (choice of one)

Shrimp Jambalaya Fritters - house-made shrimp and fixin’s tossed in a light fritter batter, fried crispy to perfection

Hoisin Duck Quesadilla - pulled duck, caramelized onions, goat cheese and hoisin plum compote in a grilled tortilla

Chicken Sliders - sweet tea-brined & corn flake-fried chicken sliders on brioche buns, topped with tobacco onions and sweet pepper jelly

Fig & Pistachio Salad - roasted squash, fresh arugula, goat cheese, pistachios and figs tossed in a fig balsamic vinaigrette

Second course (choice of one)

Patagonian Strip Steak - grilled strip steak, house-made chimichurri, “one bite” duck fat-roasted potatoes, served with rainbow carrots and tandoori butter

Venetian Duck Spinach Fettuccine - pulled smoked duck ragu with tomatoes, olives and shallots atop spinach fettucine, served with crusty local garlic ciabatta bread

Jager Schnitzel - pork loin pounded, breaded and pan fried, served with whipped potatoes, malted cabbage and topped with creamy Jagermeister mushroom sauce and roasted cherry tomatoes

Third course (choice of one)

Cinnamon Raisin Pretzel Bread Pudding - Bavarian pretzel baked in a cinnamon raisin custard and topped with a Peculiar amaretto glaze

Peculiar Sweet Potato Cake - homemade sweet potato cake and rich cream cheese frosting
