Kabuto Lake Norman is a fine Japanese hibachi and sushi restaurant serving fresh sushi, seafood and steak. Watch as our professional Hibachi chefs prepare your favorite dishes in front of your eyes or enjoy fresh sushi made to order. Enjoy our delicately seasoned Kabuto entrees, Japanese Clear Onion Soup, Hibachi Stir Fry Vegetables, Chef's Fried Rice and Kabuto's own secret recipe sauces. Located in Huntersville on Exit 25 off I-77 and open 7 days a week for dinner, we are the perfect place for any celebration, date night or just dining out with family and friends. Available is an event room large enough to accommodate a group as small as 8 people and as large as 45 people. Reservations are recommended.

Starter (choice of one)

Steak Tataki -very rare fire seared steak served with Ponzu sauce
Tuna Tataki -very rare fire seared tuna served with Ponzu sauce
Tempura Platter - choose from shrimp, calamari, chicken or tofu tempura; each order consists of 3 pieces and is served with vegetables tempura
Nigiri Sushi or Sashimi Platter - combination of 4 pieces sushi (fish on bite-sized bed of rice) or sashimi (fish only); Sake (salmon), Maguro (tuna), Hamachi (yellowtail), Ebi (shrimp) or Unagi (eel)
Teriyaki Skewers - choice of 4 skewers from chicken, beef, shrimp or calamari teriyaki

Entrée (choice of one)

Hibachi dinners will be served with Japanese Clear Onion Soup and House Salad (choice of house special or ranch dressing), Flaming Shrimp appetizers, Chef's Special Fried Rice and lightly seasoned Hibachi Vegetables.

Sushi Boats will be served with Japanese Miso Soup and House Salad (choice of house special or ranch dressing).

Fresh Sushi Boat - choice of 5 pieces of sashimi (fish only) or sushi (fish on bite sized bed of rice) from the following; Maguro (tuna), Hamachi (yellowtail), Sake (salmon), Saba (mackarel) or Tai (red snapper) and White Tuna; and platter of 2 different sushi rolls (Mount Fuji roll, Maguro [tuna] roll, or Sake [salmon] roll)
Cooked Sushi Boat - choice of 5 pieces of sashimi (fish only) or sushi (fish on bite sized bed of rice) from the following; Kani (crab), Tamago (omelet), Ebi (shrimp), Tako (octopus), Smoked Salmon, or Unagi (eel); and platter of 2 different sushi rolls (Lobster roll, Salad roll, or Queen roll)
Seafood Delight - combination of 3 seafood -- shrimp, scallops and lobster -- cooked on hibachi grill with garlic butter seasoning
Surf and Turf - steak filet grilled to the temperature of your choice, with seasoned sea salt and light soy sauce; and a lobster tail grilled with clarified garlic butter on the side
Emperor's Feast -- combination of shrimp, chicken and center-cut filet mignon cooked with light soy sauce on hibachi grill to temperature of your choice
Filet Mignon USDA Choice -- 10 oz. center-cut filet mignon cut into one-inch squares, seasoned and grilled to temperature of your choice
